What Document Drying Covers
Document drying is the specialized process of saving wet paper after water damage, halting deterioration first, then removing moisture without heat that would cook and curl the stock. It applies to far more than loose sheets:

Freeze First, Then Vacuum Freeze-Dry
The recovery hinges on two moves. We freeze the wet documents immediately, which stops pulping, stops ink migration, and halts mould growth so nothing gets worse while the work is scheduled. Frozen paper is paused paper, it buys back the time the water was taking away.
From there the moisture is removed by vacuum freeze-drying. The ice in the paper sublimates, it passes straight from solid to vapour without ever becoming liquid again, so the fibres are never re-soaked and never exposed to the heat that warps and stains. The result is documents returned flat, dry, and legible, in archival condition rather than as a damaged approximation of what you had.
